Dr Vincent undertook medical training at Auckland Medical School, and vocational Ophthalmology training in Auckland and Hamilton. Subsequently she undertook fellowship training at the RVEEH in Melbourne, Australia, and two years as the inaugural Ocular Genetic Fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada with Drs Elise Heon and Alex Levin. She is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Greenlane Eye Clinic, Auckland District Health Board, New Zealand and Senior Lecturer at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Auckland where she has established an Ocular Genetic laboratory facility with research underway into the genetics of retinal and corneal dystrophies, keratoconus, glaucoma and lid abnormalities. Dr Vincent is involved in teaching Optometry Undergraduates for the Ocular Therapeutics course, is an examiner for the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, Section Editor for Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology and on the Board of the Ophthalmic Research Institute of Australia.
