Glaucoma New Zealand Professional Symposium 2021

Dr Leo Sheck is an invited speaker for the Glaucoma New Zealand Professional Symposium on 16 May 2021 (Sunday). He gave a talk titled ‘Genetic Testing for Risk Stratification in Glaucoma’. In the talk, he discussed the development and challenges in using genetic information for the management of complex diseases. He then discussed polygenic risk score and how this can be used to help patients and clinicians to better determine the risk of development of glaucoma, and its implications to clinical practice.
